KENKOKU Wasabi soy snacks are the living proof that vegan snacks do not need be boring and predictable. Quite the opposite actually: they are surprising and unique in every possible way! It is this process that gives the baked soy beans a dainty nutty flavour, which marries perfectly with the sharp, spicy flavour of real Japanese wasabi. Since our soy snacks have Okara as their main ingredient they are not just very tasty but they are also high in nutrients. Among others, they contain 2,5 time more protein and no less than 17 times more fiber than traditional vegan snacks made from wheat flour.
Japanese Wasabi
Wasabi is typical of the Japanese cuisine, just as fries are of the Belgian, mayonnaise of the Dutch and bratwurst of the German. It gets its green colour from the root of the herb it is made of, Wasabi Japonica. Wasabi is traditionally eaten as a condiment with sushi and other fish dishes, but it also pairs perfectly with the nutty flavour of baked soy snacks.
